Welcome to InnovatEd Learning’s Children of Excellence (COE) Program
A one-of-a-kind virtual learning space where children don’t just learn—they create, question, and grow with purpose. At COE, we blend Bible-based truth with STEM-powered skills, nurturing future innovators who are prepared for life, not just the next grade.

What Makes COE Different?

  • STEM Meets Scripture: Students explore science, math, tech, and engineering through a biblical lens—seeing both creation and innovation as acts of purpose.

  • Real-World Application: From hands-on projects to student-led experiments and games, learning becomes a lifestyle.

  • Cultural Relevance: Our curriculum reflects the beauty and brilliance of Black and Brown children, their history, and their potential.

  • Family Partnership: You’re not just enrolling your child—you’re joining a village. We support, equip, and grow together.

Wellness Class

Session 1 : I AM A CREATOR

Grades 3–5 (Ages 8–11) | Live Virtual Course

Students will dive into the science of health and nutrition while learning how to care for their bodies in fun, hands-on ways. Weekly class sessions include warm-up exercises to get moving and engaging experiments like testing the pH of common liquids. Students read ingredient labels, explore health-related vocabulary, make their own gummies, and grow a food plant—drawing connections between the effort it takes to grow a plant and to grow a healthy lifestyle.

They’ll also study inspiring health advocates like Tabitha Brown and Dr. Sebi, examine over five different food cultures (including a biblical dietary lens), and discover what it means to eat with purpose.

Students will walk away with their own healthy recipe—researched, created, and prepared by them—along with a research-backed understanding of how food choices impact their bodies.

This course supports student-led exploration, real-world application of health science, and personal responsibility in building a healthier future. Students grow in knowledge, discipline, and creativity as they design solutions for wellness in everyday life.

InnovatEd Class

Session 1 : I AM A CREATOR

Grades 3–5 (Ages 8–11) | Live Virtual Course

Students will build their creative confidence by learning how to think like real-world inventors and problem-solvers! In this class, they’ll explore what it means to have vision, follow instructions, and turn big ideas into action.

From building without directions to making a sandwich in the wrong order, kids learn why structure matters—especially when it’s time to code their own solution. Along the way, they’ll discover inspiring stories of creators like Noah, Garrett Morgan, and Moses West, and finish the course by designing a project of their own using simple coding tools.

Students will walk away with a hands-on solution they created to solve a real-world challenge—applying science concepts, thinking creatively, and testing their ideas to see what works.

This course supports real-world skills like strategic thinking, following multi-step directions, creative problem-solving, and applying science concepts—building a foundation for future success in academics and life.

Reading Class

Session 1 : I AM A CREATOR

Grades 3–5 (Ages 8–11) | Live Virtual Course

This class invites students to discover the power of storytelling through history, culture, and personal expression. Students explore works like African Myths & Legends and selected stories with deep moral and cultural themes. They’ll compare storytelling styles from oral tradition to digital media, while identifying how stories reflect values and identity—often linking these themes to Scripture.

Together, students build reading fluency and vocabulary through roundtable-style reading, while learning how to outline and shape stories of their own.

Students will walk away with a story they’ve created—from concept to character development—expressed in writing, orally, or digitally.

This course strengthens vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing skills while inspiring students to see themselves as storytellers with purpose. It supports connections between cultural history, biblical values, and personal expression.

STEM Class

Session 1 : I AM A CREATOR

Grades 3–5 (Ages 8–11) | Live Virtual Course

In this inventive and hands-on STEM course, students explore the concept of time—from how it's measured to how it's kept. They build their own working timekeeping tools like water clocks, sundials, and analog clocks, and connect those concepts to ancient and biblical methods of tracking time.

Midway through the course, students shift from physical design to digital creation, using beginner-friendly coding tools to build and test their own digital time-based project.

Students will walk away with their own set of handmade clocks and a digital timer or coded project they created to solve a real-world timing problem.

This course supports applied learning in science, math, and technology. Students explore telling time, design, and digital tools while strengthening their problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
